WE REMAIN OPEN

The Prime Minister has announced a national lockdown in England that is being largely replicated in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Although this will have some impact on self storage businesses, stores can remain open for use by essential services, other businesses allowed to remain open and those individuals permitted to travel under government advice. This includes key workers, online retailers, construction and trade workers, house movers and many other potential users of self storage. The government guidance specifically states that storage and distribution services can remain open and staff can travel to work, so our onsite office will remain open with continued extra cleaning, hand sanitiser stations and reception screens all still in place for your safety.

The automated gates will remain switched on, for those customers with access codes for essential visits outside office hours. We are advising customers where possible to minimise visits in accordance with the government restrictions on travel. The rolloing staircase will still need to be booked in advance as normal for customers with first floor units. 

If you have any symtoms please do not come to the facility.

WE ARE OPEN AS NORMAL

England is now heading for another lockdown.  These lockdowns are similar to the national UK lockdown that began in March where people are being told to stay at home 

but can travel to work if they are a critical worker or do a job where it is not possible to work from home.  The real estate market also remains open in most regions.
Although this will have some impact on self-storage businesses like ours, stores can remain open for use by essential services, those businesses that remain open and those individuals 
permitted to travel under government advice.  This includes key workers, online retailers, construction and trade workers, teachers, house movers and many other potential users 
of self storage.

In practice what this means is that Our access controlled gate system will remain switched on to provide access for customers with gate codes but we would discourage 
residential customers from attending, as this is unlikely to be classed as “essential travel” although we will not prevent you from accessing the site. Customers with first floor 
units will still need to call to reserve the rolling staircase as they do now.

The onsite office remains open and storage and removals are currently going ahead as arranged.
